Chad Coleman (Tyreese) may have a fellow alum from The Wire on the set of The Walking Dead Season 4.

According to iDigitalTimes, actor Lawrence Gilliard Jr. — who played D'Angelo Barksdale on The Wire, and co-starred in The Waterboy, Gangs of New York and Army Wives — is in talks to join The Walking Dead Season 4 in a new series regular role.

Whether they specifically heard it was Roy Stark or are making the logic leap, the site referenced the reports about Stark, a new character joining Season 4, described by TVLine as "a former army medic who is deeply haunted by his past — pre- and post-zombie apocalypse. As a result, he’s a bit of a loner, although he maintains a charming/self-deprecating/confident public face."

Fans have been speculating that perhaps Roy Stark is Abraham from TWD comics, but that was just a mass assumption, and it's possible Abraham will show up separately or not at all.

What do you think? Are you excited at the possibility of this great actor joining the cast, possibly to play Roy Stark, whoever the heck that is?
