Move over, Cher! It looks like a 6-year-old girl from the south is about to become Hollywood’s newest gay icon. Wetpaint Entertainment has exclusively learned that former Toddlers & Tiaras star Eden Wood has just inked a deal for her own reality show… on the Logo network! Yep, the gay and lesbian channel that brings us RuPaul’s Drag Race and Bad Sex is set to start shooting an as-yet-untitled reality series starring pint-size pageant queen Eden.
“The show will document Eden and her mother’s move from their Arkansas hometown to the Big Apple,” our source tells us. “So far, the four main characters are Eden, her mom, her manager, and her agent. Right now, they’re set to start filming at the very beginning of 2012.” When contacted, a representative for Logo said the network does not comment on stories about shows possibly in development.
When Eden and her mom, Mickey, visited Wetpaint Entertainment’s New York office back in November, they made no secret of their plans to move to the Big Apple. In fact, they even checked out a few apartments while they were in town. “I love New York City because it’s always open,” Eden told us.
Given her new series, will she have time for the occasional cameo on Toddlers & Tiaras, the TLC show that made her famous? “Been there, done that,” Mom Mickey said to Wetpaint Entertainment. “I don’t think she’s going back.”
