As the current queen of weirdo female rappers, Nicki Minaj is a hot commodity these days — but her new video for the song "Stupid Hoe" might be too hot for BET.

TMZ reports that BET won't air the Hype Williams-directed video. There's no official word on why Nicki's latest masterpiece is being shut out, but sources inside the company claim it's because it has been deemed too explicit for TV.

The video, which repeats the lyrics "you're a stupid hoe" ten billion times while flashing Nicki's bare butt with seizure-inducing frequency, is definitely a bit much. Though honestly, it's Nicki's terrifying, doll-like giant eyes and the nauseating editing that really turns us off. (Sorry Nicki. We normally love ya, but we prefer music videos to feel slightly less like they’re trying to brainwash us).

That said, it's hard to buy that this video is too explicit, when so many others gleefully display scantily clad women gyrating all over the place. Does Nicki really deserve the ban?

Watch the video for yourself — though we're serious about the seizure warning — and voice your opinion in our poll, or on our Facebook page.
