Former 30 Rock star Tracy Morgan has been announced as the host of next month's music awards show, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
The star-studded show will air live from Las Vegas's MGM Grand on Sunday, May 19 on ABC.
"I'm honored to be a part of one of music's biggest nights," Tracy says. "When you look at the artists who have come up through Billboard over the years, it's incredible."
"And how can you say no when Prince is going to be there!" Tracy adds.
Among the stars slated to perform at the event include Justin Bieber, Taylor Swift, Bruno Mars, and Miguel. Wow!
And as Tracy alluded to, Prince will perform and will receive the Billboard Icon Award.
Last year's show was all about Adele. The vocalist collected a whopping 12 awards, including Top Vocalist, while LMFAO picked up a not-too-shabby six statues.
Tracy got his start on Saturday Night Live, and he impersonated several music stars on that show, including Busta Rhymes and Aretha Franklin. He also often sang during comedic bits on 30 Rock, including during the beloved "Werewolf Bar Mitzvah" bit.
So will we see him bust out any impressions of music stars at this show? We can't wait to find out!
The awards are based on Billboard chart rankings, along with radio airplay, social media involvement, and other factors.
Mark your calendars, Beliebers!
