It's no wonder why a certain sitcom star has a close bond with her toddler.

Danica McKellar, who played Winnie Cooper on The Wonder Years, has just recently stopped breastfeeding her two-and-a-half-year-old son, according to Us Weekly.

Danica spoke about it while attending a launch party for Tia and Tamera Mowry's new supplement that boosts milk production in moms.

"[We] actually just finished breastfeeding a couple of weeks ago," Danica says about her son, Draco. "I’m a huge fan of breastfeeding, and I love the fact that Tia and Tamera came out with this product."

She says Draco is still in the process of weaning completely.

"[Draco] still asks for it sometimes, but he's ready to be independent," she says. "He asks, but only in the morning when he's still half asleep. He doesn't ask during the day at all."

"It's like an automatic response, but then he starts playing and forgets," she adds.

Danica and Draco's father, composer Mike Verta, divorced earlier this year. She and Mike were married in March 2009 and had Draco in September 2010.

Would she like to have more kids someday?

"I'm divorced so I have to find the father, but it's definitely an option," Danica says. "It's something I think about sometimes and if it's right, I would definitely go for it."

Danica is best known for The Wonder Years but has more recently appeared on episodes of How I Met Your Mother and The Big Bang Theory. She has also written a series of best-selling books about math.
