It seems that you can, in fact, stop the rock. Motley Crue frontman Vince Neil was on stage in Sydney, Australia, today when he began experiencing internal pain and was rushed to the hospital for kidney stones.
The 52-year-old rock musician was admitted to the emergency room for treatment while bandmates Nikki Sixx and Mick Mars took to twitter to explain the situation and apologize to fans.
Sixx wrote, “Sorry Sydney for a short set tonight but Vince had to be rushed to the hospital for internal pain. Will update you on his progress.” Mars added, “Sydney, my apologies for a short set this evening. Vince had an attack of kidney stones. He went straight from stage to the hospital.”
Word is still out on whether or not the heavy metal uber-band’s current tour, partnered with fellow '80s rock legends KISS and Thin Lizzy, will be further affected by Neil’s condition. We certainly wish him a speedy recovery!
