After a lifetime of accomplishments, Alex Karras died today in Los Angeles at the age of 77.

Alex played Webster's adoptive father on the '80s TV show Webster. He also starred as dim bulb Mongo in the Mel Brooks comedy Blazing Saddles, played football with the Detroit Lions, and was a professional wrestler.

A family spokesperson told The Wrap Alex died after "a heroic fight with kidney disease, heart disease, dementia and, for the last two years, stomach cancer."

Man, that's a lot to go through! RIP, Mr. Karras.
