#twinning they are not.

Former teen heartthrobs Jeremy and Jason London haven’t aged well since their early-’90s heyday. The twin brothers, now 39, rose to fame in 1991 — Jason in the movie The Man in the Moon and Jeremy on the TV series I’ll Fly Away. Jeremy went on to star in the 1995 hits Mallrats and The Babysitter, and he recurred on Party of Five as Griffin Holbrook from 1995 to 2000 and on 7th Heaven as Chandler Hampton from 2002 to 2004. For his part, Jason is probably best known for his role in the 1993 cult classic Dazed and Confused — and for being one of People magazine’s 50 most beautiful people in the world in 1996.

Boy, how things have changed.

These days Jeremy is playing lead in a nasty legal battle with his estranged wife and baby mama, Melissa Cunningham. Charged with domestic battery on January 24 after allegedly hitting Melissa in Palm Springs, Jeremy pleaded not guilty earlier this month. But he’s not letting that or the rampant rumors that he’s homeless — based on the court papers, which label him as “transient” — get him down. In a recent encounter with TMZ outside BOA Steakhouse in L.A., Jeremy cleared the air. “I’ve never been homeless. People, they want to believe silly stuff. [...] I’m happier than I’ve been in 15 years.”

We’d believe it, since his recent past includes an addiction to painkillers, a still-debated kidnapping incident in June 2010 (see video below), and an appearance on Season 4 of Celebrity Rehab with Dr. Drew. If that’s not enough, Jason married one of Jeremy’s exes, actress Sofia Karstens, last July. In a December 2010 interview with The Daily Beast, Jeremy said, "The problems with my brother started when he began dating a girl [Sofia] I had. She has completely demolished my family and right now, the relationship's irreparable." Whatever happened to brotherly love?

Jason hasn’t had quite as tough a go of it as his twin. He’s working steadily (not in anything of note, but work is work) and has a 15-year-old daughter from his nine-year marriage to ex-wife Charlie Spradling. Battles over child support aside, he’s now happily wedded to the aforementioned Sofia Karstens. Sorry, Jer...
