We’re used to Robert Pattinson in dark-and-broody mode, but in an interview on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon last night (November 8), the Twilight star says he’d want to do a comedy — citing 2001 slapstick film Corky Romano as his inspiration.
“I love that movie, which I would say is one of my top five favorite movies. That’s the only time I’ve ever genuinely peed my pants,” he said, adding that the accident was “like, unstoppable.”
Rob peed himself in reaction to the movie, but most critics pissed on the SNL spin-off. The Boston Globe called it “86 minutes of nonstop forgettableness.” ReelViews suggested “I Survived Corky” t-shirts for it’s viewers.
But Rob’s review? “It’s a genuinely classic movie.”
When Jimmy asked Rob if he’d be in a sequel, Rob had a better idea.
“I just want to be in [the original] — get superimposed!”
Rob, for the sake of your career, we advise you to avoid comedies of this caliber. Genuinely.
