HBO released an extended version of the Season 3 Game of Thrones trailer last night, set to songstress MS MR's sinister, moody track "Bones." With a tone like that, no one will die and we'll finally get that Arya/Tywin multi-camera buddy comedy we've all been waiting for, right? Alas, no.
Warning! Spoilers ahead.
It does indeed look like "death is coming for everyone and everything," although the new footage suggests that Robb Stark (Richard Madden) might be caught in a more romantic setting. Both he and Jon Snow (Kit Harrington) spend some of the extended trailer's time making time with their respective love interests.
No matter how many characters come and go on this show, some things are constant. We can look forward to the continuation of the best sibling rivalry ever, as Cersei sneers, "You're not as clever as you think you are," and Tyrion fires right back, "Still makes me more clever than you." Peter Dinklage, how we've missed you.
Things are also looking up for Khaleesi Daenerys (Emilia Clarke), who spent so much of last season asking after her dragons, and now knows exactly where they are.
But for fans of the books, the most exciting scrap of new footage has nothing to do with dragons or people, but with a bear... a furry bear all covered in hair. Will Bran control it with his mind? Will Tyrion get a bear as an epic new mount? Are bears now suddenly competing for the Iron Throne, too?

Games of Thrones Season 3 premieres March 31 on HBO.
