Don Draper is (finally) back — somebody tell Pete Campbell to go fix him a drink!

After way too long a hiatus (it’s been over a year!), AMC’s awards darling, Mad Men, will return for Season 5 on March 25, 2012 at 8/7c. The news was spilled by star Jon Hamm himself, who last left us with ad exec Don Draper engaged to his secretary, Megan.

Mad Men was off the air for the entirety of 2011 due to contract negotiations between creator and showrunner Matt Weiner, AMC, and Lionsgate — or, as Jon announced on The Late Show on March 1, because of billionaires fighting. All we really care about is that it's *finally* coming back!

Production on the new season began in Los Angeles last July. The 2-hour premiere episode will also mark Jon Hamm’s directorial debut.

Anyway, welcome back, Sterling Cooper Draper Pryce! We hope you’ve been treating Peggy (Elisabeth Moss) and Joan (Christina Hendricks) with the worship they deserve...
