This is quite the adventure — but not necessarily a good one.
Tami Erin, who played the starring role in the 1988 film The New Adventures of Pippi Longstocking, was arrested for alleged assault on April 11, according to TMZ.
According to police, Tami was placed under citizen's arrest in Northern California by a neighbor who heard Tami arguing with her male roommmate.
Apparently, the male roommate called for help at one point, so the neighbor came rushing in and placed Tami under arrest until police were on the scene.
Tami has been booked for assault and was released the next morning.
The victim is said to not have any visible injuries, and the district attorney will now review the case.
Tami is best known for playing Pippi when she was 11 years old. She hasn't had many roles since then, although she appeared in Tim and Eric Awesome Show, Great Job! Chrimbus Special in 2010, playing a character called "Pasta Bear Wife."
We're Tami gets back on the right track and can start on some more positive adventures.
