Although American Horror Story promises to look very different in its sophomore season, the show will feature at least five familiar faces.
Ryan Murphy has already confirmed that Jessica Lange, who won Golden Globe and SAG Awards for her creepy turn as Constance in Season 1, will be back as a different character. Now Deadline reports that Zachary Quinto will join her, also as an entirely new character.
Zachary enjoyed a four-episode guest arc on Season 1, playing one half of a dysfunctional — and very dead — gay couple doomed to an eternity in Murder House. His Season 2 character, one of two male protagonists, will be Jessica’s “nemesis.”
Deadline also reveals that Season 2 will take place in an East Coast institution. Sounds appropriately freaky!
But that’s only the tip of the teaser iceberg: Ryan Murphy is sure to drop a few additional spoiler bombs during tonight’s American Horror Story panel at PaleyFest. Stay tuned...
