It does get boring, doing the same basic exercise routine over and over again. So why not mix things up with hula hoops?
Catherine Zeta-Jones, 43, told InStyle (via RadarOnline) she doesn’t have a trainer but actually loves to exercise so she doesn’t need motivation. She works out for at least 45 minutes a day, seven days a week, including on the elliptical machine, swimming laps and, yes, hula-hooping.
"I’m obsessed with hula hooping,” Catherine said. "I do it 20 minutes a day. I don’t use the old-fashioned hollow plastic kind we had when we were kids, but I discovered a new one at Danskin that’s smaller and weighted."
That’s a serious amount of exercise. But the Oscar winner (for Chicago) loves it — and said it helps her mood, which is important, since she has bipolar disorder. Do you think Michael Douglas ever hula hoops with her?
