T.J. Lavin is about to discover whether married life "rules."
T.J., 35, married longtime girlfriend Roxanne Siordia, 32, in Vegas on November 2, which was eight years to the day after they met. So cute! T.J. has hosted MTV's The Challenge — formerly known as Real World/Road Rules Challenge — since 2005.
"I knew I was gonna marry her the second I met her," T.J. tells People. "We thought about doing it at the drive-thru, but we couldn't go through with it, so I said I was down for City Hall. Fancy weddings aren't our thing." For the nuptials, he wore a suit, and she wore a cocktail dress.
T.J. is also a BMX star, and he had a serious accident two years ago that left him comatose for nine days. He says that a silver lining to the crash might be that it brought them closer together.
"When I got [through] my wreck ... it opened my eyes, and we had to work on our relationship more and make it more of a priority," T.J. says. "We had to find ourselves — [then] everything was cool."
Congrats to the happy couple! Let's hope that married life doesn't prove to be much of a "challenge."
