Poor Clint Eastwood is left with an empty chair again!
The director is planning a remake of A Star Is Born, and singer/actress Beyoncé (Dreamgirls, Obsessed) was going to be the star. Why did she drop out?
Beyoncé explained in a statement to E! News that she was looking forward to the production and the opportunity to work with Clint. However, she added, "For months we tried to coordinate our schedules to bring this remake to life but it was just not possible. Hopefully in the future we will get a chance to work together."
Hmm. Why wouldn't she clear her schedule for a potentially major showcase like this? Is she really that busy? Moving forward, do you have any suggestions for stars to replace Queen Bee? They also need a male lead...
