If Shia LaBeouf is trying to shed the last bits of his child star image, he’s doing a great job of it.

The actor recently appeared nude in a music video for Icelandic band Sigur Rós, and now he says his next film project could involve having actual sex on camera.

According to MTV News, his role in Lars von Trier’s new film Nymphomaniac will feature unsimulated sex between the actors. “[The movie] is what you think it is,” said Shia. “It is Lars von Trier, making a movie about what he’s making. For instance. there’s a disclaimer at the top of the script that basically says we’re doing it for real. Everything that is illegal, we’ll shoot in blurred images. Other than that, everything is happening.”

The plot of Nymphomaniac centers on a woman (played by Charlotte Gainsbourg) and documents her sexual experiences from her youth through the age of 50. Swedish actor Stellan Skarsgard will play her husband.

It’s unclear whether Shia’s role will involve him getting intimate with Charlotte, but he’s prepared to go as far as Lars asks him to go.

“[Lars von Trier] is very dangerous,” Shia said. “He’s the most dangerous dude that I’ve ever showed up for... I’m so terrified, which is why I have to go. We’ll see what happens.”
