Did Robert Pattinson Get a Nose Job?
Back in 2009, people began to speculate that Twilight hottie Robert Pattinson had gotten a nose job and cheek implants. The A-list actor hasn’t weighed in on the rhinoplasty rumors, but New York plastic surgeon Dr. Sherrell Aston reportedly said, “I have reviewed the available photos on Robert Pattinson and I believe he is the real deal: a handsome young man with strong facial features including a wide jaw and strong chin. His nose is a little wide in the middle (mid-vault), a little bit long, and pulls down a small amount when he smiles. His tip cartilages are readily defined and are not easily changed surgically. He is on the road to a successful career and does not need plastic surgery to make it happen.”
In a December 2008 interview with British magazine Closer (via New York Magazine), Rob explained the death of his modeling career — and it had nothing to do with a need for surgical enhancement: “When I first started I was quite tall and looked like a girl, so I got lots of jobs, because it was during that period where the androgynous look was cool. Then, I guess, I became too much of a guy, so I never got any more jobs.”
