Pregnant Kate Middleton at Naomi House, April 29, 2013
If you were royalty, how would you celebrate your wedding anniversary? If you’re Kate Middleton, you celebrate by visiting sick kids!
The Duchess of Cambridge is known for her charity work, and today was no different! Kate celebrated her and William’s second anniversary by visiting Naomi House, a children’s hospice in Winchester, visiting with hospice staff, ailing children, and their families.
The Royal Baby Bump is growing faster than ever, showing clearly under a pink dress.
The Duchess is the royal patron of East Anglia Children’s Hospices, and kicked off Children’s Hospice Week with a message on behalf of the UK’s Together for Short Lives campaign.
“I have been fortunate to see first hand the remarkable work that they do for children and young people with life-limiting conditions, and their families,” Kate said in the video, “Children’s Hospice Week Is a time to recognize celebrate and support the inspirational work of those hospices, and the people who provide palliative care to these children and families. Children’s Hospices provide lifelines to families in a time of unimaginable pain.”
She called the hospices’ work “simply transformational,” adding, “It does not bear thinking about what these families would do without this.”
Wow, Kate! You never slow down with your incredible charity work, even over six months pregnant — and on your second wedding anniversary, no less!
