Dustin Diamond: Screech Powers
Dustin Diamond, who purports to be nothing like his geeky, bumbling Saved by the Bell character, has had a slightly more difficult time keeping his career alive.
Unlike his former cast mates, he stuck around for Saved by the Bell: The New Class (1994-2000), playing Principal Belding’s (Dennis Haskins) assistant. That was probably a good call, because ol’ Dusty hasn’t been in anything of note since. Unless you consider his “leaked” sex tape, Screeched: Saved by the Smell, “something of note.”
When he’s not bragging about his sexploits (he claims to have slept with over 2,000 women — eww!), Dustin does stand-up comedy, makes the occasional movie cameo, and appears on reality shows. The highlight of his reality career? When he pissed off four other unfit D-listers on Season 5 of Celebrity Fit Club in 2007.
In 2009, Dustin released Behind the Bell, a tell-all book about his Saved by the Bell years — much to the chagrin of his former castmates. When asked what would happen if Mario and Mark-Paul were to seek revenge for some of his more damning “reveals,” Dustin dished to RadarOnline, “I'm more dangerous with martial arts than Mark-Paul or Mario ever was. I'm not the character Screech. The last thing they'd want to do is harm me in any way, because then that's a whole new legal battle and paparazzi thing. I can own all of Mario's, um, hosting shoes. What does he have?”
His other big move? He hosted the 12th annual Gathering of the Juggalos in 2012, for Insane Clown Posse superfans (sorry, please don't beat us up for simplifying it). In August 2013, Dustin moved in to the Celebrity Big Brother house, but he was the fourth member evicted, losing out to A-Listers including Courtney Stodden.
