It’s been nearly five months since we lost Paul Walker in a tragic auto accident, and while we and his fellow fans continue to miss him, the steady machine of Hollywood grinds onward. What’s that mean? Well, beside Fast & Furious 7, the franchise that made Paul a household name, continuing filming, the actor’s last movie is also set to hit theaters.
Brick Mansions premieres April 25 and co-stars Wu-Tang Clan’s RZA. The rapper-turned-actor recently talked with our pals at Celebified about what it was like to work with Paul on set.
“Ah man, what a team,” RZA says of his and Paul’s onscreen dynamic. RZA plays Detroit's leading crime lord Tremaine in the film, while Paul plays Damien, an undercover cop who’s determined to bring Tremaine down.
RZA says his fellow actor brought a “great spirit … great energy [and] great personality” to set that comes through in the movie.
We get a glimpse of it in the footage above, in which we see a handsome Paul appears in uniform as his character does all kinds of crazy stunts off brick walls and in cell blocks. We’ll admit that even though this movie is clearly thriller rather than rom-com, we can’t help but tear up at seeing Paul on film once again.
