Funny (and Sad)! Watch How Often Aaron Sorkin Plagiarizes Himself in Film and TV Scripts (VIDEO)

Credit: YouTube

Love him or hate him, Aaron Sorkin is one of the most high-profile writers in the entertainment industry. His new show, The Newsroom, is earning the usual mix of adoration and backlash but you can't argue with his track record or his impact on American culture ... and himself.

A Sorkin fan created a video tribute showing how much dialogue the writer recycles in various projects. "This is not intended as a critique but rather a playful excursion through Sorkin's wonderful world of words," the creator posted on YouTube. The seven minute compilation includes scenes from Malice, A Few Good Men, Bulworth, Sports Night, The West Wing, Studio 60, Charlie Wilson's War and The Social Network.

It's impressive, funny and kinda sad at the same time.
