Watch the ad that Burger King supposedly pulled over "licensing" even though there has been growing backlash from African-American groups that it promotes racial stereotypes and "buffoonery." These groups aren't the only ones speaking out. Fans have been tweeting their dumb-foundedness over Mary J. even doing a Burger King commercial at this point in her career. Mary J. was alledgedly paid $2 million to do it.

In response to fan backlash, Mary J. Blige released a statement to TMZ, “I agreed to be a part of a fun and creative campaign that was supposed to feature a dream sequence. Unfortunately, that's not what was happening in that clip [...] I understand my fans being upset by what they saw. But, if you’re a Mary fan, you have to know I would never allow an unfinished spot like the one you saw go out."
