Actress Nia Long may have confused Empire with real life.
The 46-year-old reportedly caused problems on the set of the popular Fox drama with her diva behavior while filming a recent guest spot where she serves as a nemesis of Cookie Lyon.
The Big Momma's House star was "nasty and rude" to the show's crew, according to Page Six.
"Every dog has their day. She does a lot of wrong to people, and now it’s biting her in the butt," a source told the site.
"She has a history of giving people a hard time, especially wardrobe and makeup."
The trouble started when the actress showed up late to the shoot, causing one of the show's stars to joke if she was on "colored people time," according to TMZ.
Nia apparently lit into her fellow actor and refused to let up even after he said he was only kidding.
Her relentlessness caused Taraji, 46, to ask, "What are you, on your period? Is it that time, girlfriend?" which only served to make Nia fly off the handle even more.
And this isn't the first time there have been reports of the star causing problems on set.
During the filming of The Best Man Holiday, Nia allegedly held up shooting by refusing to wear black during a funeral scene despite the director's wishes.
"She threw a huge fit and held up production for nearly an hour because she refused to wear black.
"She argued, ‘My character wouldn’t be wearing black to a funeral! She would wear white!’
"They eventually gave in because they felt like it was a frivolous battle," a source told Page Six.
