Nick Viall to Make Acting Debut as Guest Star on ‘Speechless’
Nick Viall is heading back to TV, but it’s not what you think!
The former Bachelor is done with reality television for good, but he is returning to ABC very soon.
That’s right, folks — the two-time Bachelorette runner-up is making his scripted television debut!
The 36-year-old is set to appear in an upcoming episode of Speechless, according to E! News.
And he’s not going to be playing himself!
The Wisconsin native is taking on the role of Tyson, a "hunky B-movie actor who takes his craft way too seriously."
Yep, we think Nick will be able to play that role perfectly!
Deadline’s description of the episode says, "After befriending JJ (Micah Fowler) on a set, Tyson summons all his powers for the performance of a lifetime, deceiving Maya (Minnie Driver) and Jimmy (John Ross Bowie) to get JJ out of hot water."
We like the sound of this episode!
Nick’s silver screen debut is set to air in November, so make sure to set your DVRs!
Meanwhile, the reality star vet is still dealing with his breakup from ex-fiancée Vanessa Grimaldi.
The former couple, who got engaged on his season of The Bachelor, called it quits in August.
"It's with a great amount of heartbreak for the both us as we have decided to end our engagement," they said in a statement.
"We gave this relationship our all and we are saddened that we did not get the fairytale ending we hoped for."
They continued, “We will continue to be there for each other no matter what. This hasn't been an easy decision, however, as we part ways, we do so with lots of love and admiration for each other."
