More Details Emerge About ‘Bachelor’ Couple Nick Viall & Vanessa Grimaldi’s Split (UPDATE)
A source has claimed to know details about Vanessa's unhappiness with the pair's Los Angeles life.
“He got Dancing With the Stars so she stayed, but was basically following him around for his career,” the source said.
“Eventually, it just didn’t work.”
The source also claimed the couple had issues from the start of their relationship.
“Nick always felt like he made the wrong choice,” the source added. “It’s harsh, but he shouldn’t have chosen anyone on The Bachelor.”
“It just wasn’t a good match. It’s true that she was really jealous of all the opportunities he had.
“He was still getting attention, and she just wasn’t. She was also jealous of all the girls around him.”
Speaking of wrong choices, rumors are also circulating that other Bachelor finalist Raven Gates feels relieved to have avoided the couple's eventual fate.
"Raven feels vindicated by the news that Nick and Vanessa are no longer together," a source told Hollywood Life.
"She felt from the moment their proposal happened that Nick was making the wrong decision by choosing Vanessa over her.
"She is relieved too that it wasn’t her that received the final rose. Even though Vanessa may have been the better fit for Nick, she knows he would have probably — inevitably — broken her heart too,”

And though this split comes just five months after fans watched their proposal in the Season 21 finale, we can’t say we didn’t see it coming.
“It's with a great amount of heartbreak for the both us as we have decided to end our engagement,” Nick and Vanessa tell E! News in a joint statement.
The statement continues, “We gave this relationship our all and we are saddened that we did not get the fairytale ending we hoped for.”
“We will continue to be there for each other no matter what. This hasn't been an easy decision, however, as we part ways, we do so with lots of love and admiration for each other,” it concludes.
“They didn’t exchange five words the entire flight. They were angled completely away from each other,” an onlooker said at the time.
But sources later shot that down, saying they’re “still very much together.”

The 36-year-old franchise alum and his fiancée had faced skepticism from the moment their engagement went public on the live After the Final Rose special in May.
Fans noted on social media that they looked “awkward,” already predicting that their relationship was doomed.
“I think we both went in it wanting to be honest and open about couples, you know, sometimes things can get tough,” Vanessa defended the appearance at the time.
The Wisconsin native chimed in, “The reality is — we joke about it, but it’s true — we don’t know what it’s like to go to the movies together, we don’t know what it’s like to spend time together in the real world. Our relationship has been based off of stressful situations.”
For now, neither party has commented on the breakup on social media — though that’s just a matter of time.
