We still don't totally know if the beef between Cardi B and Nicki Minaj is hyped up for attention or actually legit, but at least now, it might just be the latter.

The two femcees are both featured on Migos's new single, "Motor Sport," but a new report claims when Nicki recorded her verse, she had no idea her sometimes frenemy, Cardi B, would be spitting on the song, too.

Cardi B is the hottest up-and-coming female rapper in the game, having gained a number one hit with "Bodak Yellow" and tons of accolades and awards as a result.

Plus, Cardi and Offset, one third of rap trio Migos, got engaged this past weekend, so it's not totally suprising they'd want to feature the Love & Hip Hop star on their new single!

However, a source insists that when Nicki recorded and sent over her verse to be included on "Motor Sport," the first single off the group's upcoming album Culture 2, she had no idea Cardi would be doing the same.

"Nicki's team sent that verse to be on a remix of 'For Keeps' with Quavo," MediaTakeOut.com insists.

"Will Offset and them put the verse on 'Motor Sport' instead with Cardi B and didn't tell Nicki about it."

The webloid also claims Migos did all their paperwork correctly so the Queens raptress can't sue.

But she doesn't really seem that pissed, to be honest, as she's been retweeting fans complimenting her verse on the track and promoting it across her social media pages:

Maybe the New York ladies' feud is all exaggerated after all?

The 25-year-old Brooklyn native, meanwhile, is doing pretty well for herself with or without Onika's verse, as she's confirmed to have worked on another song with the one and only Beyoncé.

The Bey Hive has confirmed the two, who met at the Made in America festival in September, did in fact team up for a collaboration and it'll appear on Cardi's upcoming debut album.

But if we're being honest, the former reality star's biggest accomplishment to date is getting Offset to put a ring on it — that ring on it.

The rapper proposed on Friday, October 27 — the same day "Motor Sport" came out, coincidentally — on-stage at Power 99's Powerhouse concert in Philly.
