Nicki Minaj Talks RHoA Reunion Brawl — Is She Team Kenya or Team Porsha? (VIDEO)

Would you have guessed that Nicki Minaj was a fan of Real Housewives of Atlanta? OK, we’re not totally surprised — look how addicted we are to the Bravo reality show! But not only is the rapper-actress an avid viewer, she also has a personal favorite, in the form of former Miss USA Kenya Moore. So is she #TeamKenya in the recent reunion brawl with Porsha Williams?

Former ‘N Sync-er Lance Bass (who works for Entertainment Tonight now — who knew?!) put Nicki on the spot about that this week, following the ep’s airing. And before we get into her answer, can we talk about how fantastic the Other Woman star looks? Girl is gorgeous. Now, back to her answer.

“Let me say this, being that I do love Kenya — if it was someone else and not Kenya, I would have said ‘she got what was coming to her,’ because she definitely provoked Porsha,” Nicki responded thoughtfully, adding, “I mean, I wouldn’t have sat there and let nobody do that to me,” citing Kenya’s provocative props, the scepter and the bullhorn.

So what would Nicki have done in her situation? “I wouldn’t have been able to handle it,” she admitted. “Somebody would’ve had to get knocked upside the head.” Yikes, something tells us Kenya wouldn’t want to be on the receiving end of this tough Queens gal’s wrath!

However, the “Super Bass” singer can respect the game her girl is playing this season. “I think Kenya, she’s very smart, and she makes chess moves. She knows how to get under people’s skin,” Nicki said, though she is empathetic to Porsha. “If Porsha knew better, than she wouldn’t let people rile her up as quickly. I think it’s a learning experience. I’ve gone through my fair share of feeling like ‘oh my god, I let somebody get under my skin.’”

In other words, she’s not picking sides in this battle, just acknowledging the difficulty of being a woman on TV.

“I think that they’re both just regular women trying to find themselves on reality TV,” Nicki mused. “That must not be an easy task, you know what I mean? You’re going through problems and you’re sad, and you got people making fun of your problems on TV in front of the world.”
