Barbara Walters asked if Snooks was able to quit her vices cold turkey after becoming a mom. “I mean, I never was an alcoholic. I wasn’t really addicted to cigarettes, it wasn’t a problem, so I kind of dropped it like that," she said while snapping her fingers.
As for what really made Snooki change her ways? A month after giving birth to baby Lorenzo, Snooki had a drunken girls' night out, where she gave lap dances and kissed some of her girlfriends. Her fiancé Jionni LaValle was less than pleased.
“He was pissed...He wanted to break up with me, but it was just a different transition because on Jersey Shore I was a party girl, that’s just what I did, she said. "I loved going out and going crazy...and then the first time I went out after I had Lorenzo, I kind of went back to that and then after I’m like, ‘Oh no. I can’t do this anymore.'"
When Sherri Shepherd asked her if being a mother helped her center herself, Snooki replied that it “woke her up.”
“It’s like ‘girl, check yourself. You can’t do this anymore,'" she said.
We're super impressed by how much Snooki seems to have changed and matured since becoming a mom. And her new book title says it all: Baby Bumps: From Party Girl to Proud Mama, and all the Messy Milestones Along the Way.
