Casper’s all grown up! We hear that Devon Sawa, child star of such memorable nineties fare as Now and Then, Wild America, and Idle Hands, is set to guest star in The CW’s Nikita. Sawa will play Owen, a Division operative sent after the rogue Nikita. The character is already being described as “The Male Nikita” and the is only agent thought to be capable of taking her on.

Sawa, age 31, had his first big role at the age of 14 in 1995’s Casper opposite Christina Ricci. He soon became a favorite of tweens everywhere, starring in the shameless teenage hunkfest Wild America (this time opposite Jonathan Taylor Thomas and a bear), 1999’s horror-comedy Idle Hands, and in the original Final Destination in 2000. Now that he’s decidedly out of his teenage years, we think its time for a comeback for Mr. Sawa — and maybe this role on the action-packed Nikita is it!
