Over the past two weeks, since The Bachelor Season 18 finale on March 10, Juan Pablo Galavis and Nikki Ferrell were basically inseparable. Whether hobnobbing with other celebs, hanging in a tropical paradise, or enjoying a relaxed evening stroll with Juan Pablo’s daughter, Camila, they totally sold their love like to us. So why are the two now living over a thousand miles apart from each other?
Nikki and Juan Pablo’s romance has been a bit of a whirlwind since the couple filmed their Bachelor ATFR interview with Chris Harrison on March 10. Since then, they have been living together in Miami and even vacationing in the Caribbean. But at the end of last week, they returned to their real lives for the time being.
Juan Pablo stayed behind in Miami, where he served jury duty on March 25 and went back to work at baseball spring training on March 26. Meanwhile, Nikki posted a pic over the weekend of herself relaxing with friends in Kansas City, and she, too, went back to her job this week, caring for kiddos as a pediatric nurse.
So how long will they be apart? We’re not exactly sure, and it sounds like the couple themselves might not know either. Rumor has it that they’re still deciding which city to end up in together, as Juan Pablo reportedly told Nikki she could pick any city for them to live in. (Uh, wouldn’t she just choose the one she’s currently in?)
In the meantime, Nikki appears to be keeping Juan Pablo close by wearing a necklace with his first initial on it. If you ask us, this is “A” for “adorable.” However, long-distance relationships are never easy, so we’re hoping they can end up in the same zipcode before too long.
Are you surprised that Nikki and Juan Pablo are living in different cities? And do you think they’ll be back to living in the same city soon?
