If you’re anything like us, you’re still just a little hung up on The Vampire Diariesseason finale (and by a little we obviously mean a lot.) But thanks to TV Guide, we’ve got the scoop on where two shocking finale plot twists will take us during Season 3.

Shocker #1 is of course Vicki Donovan’s (Kayla Ewell) return! The Vickster only popped up for a few very creepy seconds at the very end of the finale, but it spells heaps of trouble for Season 3.

Now that she’s back, Ewell says Vicki has a lot of "unfinished business with my brother, my boyfriend, my ex boyfriend, with so many people.” She adds: "I'm coming back with a vengeance. It's going to get crazy." Bring. It. On.

How did Kayla manage to keep the finale's biggest twist under wraps? “That's the most top secret job I've ever done in my life," Ewell told TV Guide. "I couldn't even tell my brother and sister because they're both in college and I was really afraid that [it would end up on] Facebook and Twitter. So I literally told my mom and dad, and that was it."

And although we all knew it was just a matter of time before Elena (Nina Dobrev) and Damon (Ian Somerhalder) locked lips, Shocker #2 was when it happened on Damon’s deathbed. Despite the sexy smooch we’re still just as clueless about whether they’ll ever actually claim boyfriend-girlfriend status.

"It's going to be interesting what happens next," Nina Dobrev told TV Guide. "I really would like to see the whole play on Elena and Damon's relationship, what kind of repercussions and what kind of consequences there will be, and what kind of awkwardness there will be. There's so many ways it could go."

But don’t get your hopes up too high for a certifiable relationship, Delena fans. Nina says while Elena might have a crushy crush on bad boy Damon, it’s Stefan (Paul Wesley) who really revs her engine. "You always want what you can't have, and that's why for so long [the writers] have been keeping [Elena and Damon] apart because they want the fans to want what they can't have," she says. "Now that Stefan is gone, Elena will want what she can't have and she'll miss him and wonder if he's ok, and I think it will make their relationship stronger."

Good thing we can still got our Delena fix through Ian and Nina’s rumored off-screen romance!
