NOH8 Campaign Sides With Kailyn Lowry After Controversial Photoshoot

Kailyn Lowry and her husband, Javi Marroquin, created quite a bit of drama-rama when they posed for a pro-LGBT photoshoot with Kailyn's son, Isaac. This adorable family have always been proud supporters of gay marriage, but the problem? Kailyn's baby daddy, Jo Rivera, was none too happy about his son's participation in the shoot. Especially thanks to one particular picture featuring Javi posing with a man in full makeup, who's kissing Isaac on the cheek.

When a fan asked Jo if the picture made him "sick," he responded "yes it does.. Even Isaac is like wtf is going on here.."

As far as we're concerned, Isaac looks safe, healthy, and happy — and it looks like the NOH8 campaign is right there with us. In case you aren't in the know, the NOH8 campaign is a response to the passage of Proposition 8 in California, and consists of activists taking photos with duct tape on their mouths to symbolize the gay voice being silenced. Kailyn has posed for NOH8 in the past, so it's no wonder that they have her back.

"Children learn about love and acceptance at an early age,” a rep for the campaign tells RadarOnline, “and setting an example by standing up for equality is one of the most important things a parent can do for their child. Biases can be learned too, but taking the opportunity to show their child what it’s like to stand up for what’s right gives that child the ability to recognize and defy those biases. We’re proud to see so many parents using the NOH8 Campaign as a teachable moment in their child’s development.”

Preach, y'all.

Do you agree with NOH8's statement of support, or do you think Kailyn and Javi should have asked Jo's permission before including Isaac in the shoot? Weigh in below!
