‘TWD’s’ Norman Reedus Confirms a Third Installment of ‘Boondock Saints’
Amazing news for Norman Reedus fans!
Audiences will see The Walking Dead star back on the big screen for the third installment of Boondock Saints.
The actor will reprise his role as Murphy McManus, who makes up half of the justice-seeking Irish brother duo from the films.
Rumors about the third movie have been in full effect for months now — but Norman officially confirmed the film is “in the works” during a Reddit AMA.
“Hey good morning. Yeah it’s on. In the works, happening,” he responded to a Reddit user.
According to Comicbook.com, the title of the third film is currently The Boondock Saints 3: Legion and the movie will involve legions of people taking the law into their own hands and following in the footsteps of the brothers.
When asked by the same user if he thinks his Boondock co-star Sean Patrick Flannery could make a cameo on TWD, Norman responded just like we hoped he would.
“Sean would be great on the show he’s a real life ninja.”
It’s too late for Sean to join Season 7, but he would make a great installment to Season 8.
He could play Daryl’s long-lost family member, who is just as badass as he is.
Or maybe he could play another survivor who Daryl stumbles upon and forms a bond with, like Aaron in Season 5.
Either way their chemistry is awesome and the cameo opportunities are limitless!
The Walking Dead Season 7 premieres Sunday, October 23 at 9 p.m. ET on AMC.
