Norman Reedus (Daryl Dixon) continues to dominate the late night talk show circuit, this time making his first appearance on the newly-launched Late Night With Seth Meyers. Norman appeared on the March 12 episode of the show, immediately following Dr. Oz — and talked about The Walking Dead, bribing Robert Kirkman, and much more.
First Seth had to ask everybody’s favorite question: Do you worry about getting killed off the show? To that, Norman gave his standard answer.“It’s a lot like real life. You don’t know how much time you have with people and people are snatched from you,” he reasoned.
Seth, who noted that he’s a fan of the Walking Dead comics, then asked Norman how it feels to be playing a character on the TV show that wasn’t even part of the original source material. Apparently though, Norman is working to change that and trying to get comic book creator and the show’s executive producer to put Daryl in the comics. “I’ve offered to sleep with him...whatever it takes!” Norman said with a laugh.
Unfortunately that was the end of the TWD chit-chat, but Seth did talk to Norman, who lives in New York City part-time, about his harrowing experience getting his picture taken at the top of the Empire State Building. Norman may be an expert walker-killer, but it sounds like he isn’t too fond of heights!
“I hugged onto the wall, and the wind was blowing my hair straight up. I was like, ‘Take the picture! Take the picture!’” he remembered. Apparently Norman isn’t alone in his fear of heights, because Seth then recounted his own terrifying experience on top of the New York City landmark.
