Norman Reedus Releases Photography Book: Pre-Order Now!

As if we needed another reason to love Norman Reedus (Daryl Dixon), the 44-year-old actor is on a mission to prove that he’s more than just a pretty face (but oh what a pretty one it is).

It’s clear that Norman is very artistic, and in addition to acting on The Walking Dead, he has a penchant for photography. In between appearing on the hit AMC show and posing with adorable animals, multi-talented Norman somehow found the time to release his very own book of photos.

The book is called The Sun’s Coming Up… Like a Big Bald Head: Photo Book, and is already available for pre-order, though it won’t be released until Halloween (October 31). How fitting!

On his website —, natch — the book is described as follows: “This provocative collection redefines our daily encounters. Through his penetrating imagery, Reedus takes us on what proves to be a hauntingly intimate journey through the dark and sublime.”

We doubt you need even more incentive to purchase this gem, but we already know that several of the photographs are straight from The Walking Dead set. In fact, Norman’s TWD co-star Andrew Lincoln (Rick Grimes) is already singing the book’s praises.

Andy tells, “These photos are capricious. One moment brutal, the next beautiful, sexual, and vulnerable in equal measure. In the blink of an eye, innocence turns to experience and everywhere there are masks… Some of the most liberating and exuberant photos involve masks. But my favourite images are playful and bewitching.”

It’s also worth mentioning that the book is a limited-edition collector’s volume.

What are you waiting for, people? Pre-order Norman’s photo book now!
