Norman Reedus Previews New Walking Dead Clip, Teases “Crazy Finale”

Norman Reedus (Daryl Dixon) paid a visit to The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon yesterday (March 5) and not only showed off his cool laser beam powers thanks to a titanium eye, but also talked about his recent trip to New Orleans for Mardi Gras, his love of Portlandia’s Fred Armisen, and more. As the cherry on top of an already great interview, Norman also showed a new clip from The Walking Dead and teased the Season 4 finale!

Jimmy first asked Norman about celebrating Mardi Gras in New Orleans last weekend, which he called “amazing”, though not exactly what he had in mind. “I was disappointed because I didn’t see a whole lot of boobs,” Norman admitted with a laugh.

Next up, Norman talked about his love for Portlandia star and Jimmy’s former Saturday Night Live pal, Fred Armisen. Jimmy showed the audience a photo Norman posted to Instagram last month of himself with Fred and Kyle MacLachlan, and Norman recounted the first time he met Fred at an SNL after party a few years ago. “I think I hugged Fred like 12 times,”he said. “I’m a hugger!”

The real highlight of the interview, however, came when Norman previewed a new scene from TWD, likely from this Sunday’s Episode 13: “Alone.” The clip shows Daryl and Beth Greene (Emily Kinney) in the woods as Daryl teaches Beth how to track. It doesn’t reveal much of anything, but Norman did open up about the Season 4 finale of TWD, which is scheduled to air on March 30.

“Up to our finale it just gets crazier, we have a crazy finale,” he dished. “It just gets more intense the whole way.”

The Walking Dead Season 4 airs Sundays at 9 p.m. ET on AMC.
