North West had her very first b-day last weekend, but on Saturday, June 21, the family shared photos from what they called "Kidchella," a child version of Coachella, which TMZ said was held in Kourtney Kardashian's backyard.
Guests were given tie-dyed wrist bands and could enter booths for hair-braiding, face-painting, T-shirt dyeing, etc. Kids got glow sticks and snow cones, there was a Churro stand, you could have cotton candy, and they even had a Ferris wheel. (Eat your heart out, Blue Ivy!)
Never mind kids — we're throwing ourselves this exact birthday party next year.
OK, maybe not exact. There were also stages set up, with (awkward, see video below) “performances” from Jaden Smith, Kylie Jenner and Kendall Jenner, and they probably wouldn't show up for us. We'd also skip the part where Native American headdresses and teepees were involved, ala Khloe Kardashian, who was criticized for her photos.
The birthday girl and her parents are nowhere to be found in the pics and videos shared by G-ma Jenner, but hopefully North had fun at her own party.
What do you think of this? Would you set up a big Kidchella event for your kid, if you had the money and space for it, or do you think it’s a bit much for a first b-day party?
