UPDATE (12/17/17 2.27 p.m. ET)

Kim Kardashian is reportedly considering allowing her daughter North West to name her new baby sister.

A source said, ''Kim and Kanye are very concerned about how North is going to react to the new baby.

"It's especially challenging because they're using a surrogate so they can't even really prepare her.

''Kim has called on a parenting expert to get advice on what to do to avoid sibling rivalry this time around and one of the suggestions was to let North help name the baby so she feels more invested.''

The source told Hollywood Life that Kanye loves the idea.

"They're considering it, Kim's kind of on the fence about the idea but Kanye loves it.

"He thinks North is a creative genius and he's happy to let her name their third child.''

North West cares way more about what Santa's bringing than what the stork is.

As Kim Kardashian and Kanye West gear up for the birth of their third child and second daughter, they're prepping kids North and Saint for her arrival.

But little Nori's got other things on her mind — like Christmas!

Kimye is expecting their third child, their first via surrogate, in a matter of weeks.

Kim (accidentally) revealed on Ellen last month that Baby No. 3 is a girl, although we'd say her pink cherry blossom-themed baby shower was a pretty dead gender giveaway...

But 4-year-old North has more important things on her mind than her soon-to-be baby sister.

"North still doesn’t believe that it is happening, and is more concerned over what Santa is going to get her this year,”  a source tells Hollywood Life.

“She always tells her mom that her belly isn’t a bubble — like it was with Saint — but Kim is trying to ease her through it by showing her clothes they have bought the baby and the room that the baby will be in.”

This makes sense, though. Surrogacy is undeniably confusing for a kid, but it has been just as complicated for mama Kimmy, too.

“Anyone that says or thinks [surrogacy] is just the easy way out is just completely wrong,” the 37-year-old revealed on Keeping Up With The Kardashians.

“I think it is so much harder to go through it this way, because you are not really in control.

"And, you know, obviously you pick someone that you completely trust and that you have a good bond and relationship with, but it is still … knowing that I was able to carry my first two babies and not, you know, my baby now, it’s hard for me. So, it’s definitely a harder experience than I anticipated just in the control area.”

Still, the KKW beauty founder has said her daughter is thrilled to be welcoming a little sister to the crew, but 2-year-old son Saint hasn't quite caught on to what's happening.

"I don't know if my son gets it yet," she told Ellen.

"Especially since I don't have the belly, it is a different experience. I said to my sisters, 'Would it be really creepy if I just had someone dress up like a big stork and drop the baby off at the front door?' Isn't that what we heard when were growing up? That storks dropped off...?"

No matter what she tells her kiddos about her arrival, Baby Girl West is coming soon, so the rest of the family better get excited if they're not already!
