Nude, Pregnant Kim Kardashian: See The Controversial New Statue (VIDEO)
We’d like to apologize in advance for what you’re about to see. Fair warning? Good.
Sculptor Daniel Edwards has created a life-size nude piece which he calls “L.A. Fertility,” depicting a very heavily pregnant Kim Kardashian standing in the buff.
The sculpture, which bears a striking resemblance to the 32-year-old reality star — minus its lack of arms, of course — debuted at LAB ART Gallery in Los Angeles on June 3.

The very anatomically correct statue is already creating controversy. And if you feel like you’ve seen something like it before, don’t worry: You probably have. Back in 2006, Daniel created an infamous sculpture that showed a very nude Britney Spears in the process of giving birth to her first son, Sean Preston.
In 2009 he made a life-size nude of Angelina Jolie breastfeeding her infant twins. Congrats, Kim! You just joined a very exclusive club.
While some people might see the statue as the work of yet another person who can’t wait to poke fun at the reality star for her (totally natural) pregnancy weight gain, Daniel says his sculpture was actually meant to have the complete opposite effect.
"People tend to look at the parts, like the creases in her armpits, or how she wore a dress that makes her look like a killer whale," he toldLos Angeles Magazine. "I'm stripping it of the details people get stuck on, so they can see the beauty."
