O-Town Announces Reunion — Without Ashley Parker Angel
Oh baby, O-Town’s back — again! The only downside: They’re down a member.
Ashley Parker Angel, aka the A.J. McLean of O-Town, has decided to “pursue other career opportunities,” as E! News so diplomatically puts it. But hey, that still makes your O-Town poster 80 percent correct. Members Erik-Michael Estrada, Trevor Penick, Jacob Underwood, and Dan Miller are onboard to get the group back together.
Believe it or not, it’s been nearly 14 years since O-Town entered our lives thanks to MTV’s Making the Band. The reality TV stars released two albums, but broke up a few years later, only to try getting back together in 2011 (Ashley Parker sat that one out, too). At the time, TMZsaid a “full-blown reunion” was scheduled for April 2011 but unfortunately, that all came to naught.
Perhaps the third time’s the charm! The guys sure seem excited, tweeting the news March 31 in all caps: “WE’RE BACK!!!” They later thanked their fans for their outpouring of support: “Thank you to all of you that have shown love since our announcement! This reunion is for you guys and we promise not to disappoint.”
