Barack Obama Sent Prince George a Custom Rocking Horse For His Birthday — Made From a White House Tree!

There are a lot of perks that come with being a prince, especially if you’re Prince George. Not only is the fabulous, ultra-stylish Kate Middleton your mom, but you get to grow up in a palace — pretty sweet deal, right? And as far as birthdays go, you know the presents will be amazing.

One of those presents? Came straight from Barack Obama, which is going to be really cool once George is old enough to understand that not all babies get gifted by the president. According to E! News, Obama sent over a custom designed rocking horse, complete with the presidential seal. Haven’t you heard? It’s what all the Secret Service guards are traveling in this summer.

Another cool fact about the horse: Part of it was made from an oak tree from the South Lawn of the White House.

Need to see this one of a kind gift? You don’t have to be in George’s immediate family. There’s a “Royal Childhood” exhibit happening at Buckingham Palace that features never before seen photos, video footage, and toys belonging to British royals over the past 250 years, and George’s birthday present is among the artifacts on display.

Other than enjoying his gifts, George spent his birthday — which was on July 22 — at the London Natural History Museum’s Sensational Butterflies exhibit. Can you believe he’s already walking? He’s growing up so fast!

“We would like to take this opportunity on George’s first birthday to thank everyone over the last year, wherever we have met them, both at home and overseas, for their warm and generous good wishes to George and our family,” Will and Kate said in a statement.

Happy birthday, George! Enjoy your gifts!
