Bachelor in Paradise Officially Renewed For Season 2!

Couldn’t get enough of the island-based shenanigans and tomfoolery this time around on Bachelor in Paradise? Well, you’re in luck! The reality TV gods have recognized our thirst for ever-rotating love triangles, (not) threesomes, and raccoon therapy, because ABC just renewed the Bachelor spin-off series for a second season! Praise Chris Harrison!

The news broke this morning, appropriately in the hours leading up to BiP’s Season 1 finale. Entertainment Weekly reports that Season 2 is officially happening, with a premiere date of summer 2015 (exact day TBD). No word on whether or how the show will be retooled in this second edition, but sources like Reality Steve and Wetpaint’s own contacts close to the show are certain that some tweaking will likely happen.

Despite possible improvements that could be made, America clearly loved the summer series all the same. After premiering on August 4, Harrison, AshLee Frazier, Michelle Money, Marcus Grodd, and the gang quickly won over viewers, climbing their way to the No. 1 ranked new summer series in the coveted 18-49 demographic. Way to go, guys!

We’ll have to tune in tonight to see how it all ends, but you can be certain there will be plenty of these things: ocean makeouts, grand professions of love, melodramatic breakups, and even one rumored engagement! Don’t miss out.

Bachelor in Paradise first season finale airs at 8 p.m. ET on ABC.
