Olivia Wilde Does the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge — Using Her Own Breast Milk! (VIDEO)

Well, here’s a first! While Hollywood has been putting their own spin on the ALS Association’s Ice Bucket Challenge (see: Zoe Saldana and Ben Affleck) — which is helping spread awareness of ALS aka Lou Gehrig’s disease — Olivia Wilde sure raised the bar with her video.

The 30-year-old actress apparently couldn’t find water for her challenge, so she used her own breast milk, because, why not? "I hope it's ok, I couldn't find any water so I'm going to use breast milk," Olivia said in the video. "It took me all night to make this."

Olivia went on to nominate New Jersey Senator Corey Booker, women’s rights advocate Gloria Steinem, and “the artist currently known as Prince,” before she went ahead and dumped a bucket of ice cold milk over her head.

Oh, and in case you want to see it done in slow motion, the actress also shared a clip of her challenge on Instagram for your viewing pleasure. You’re welcome.

We’re honestly not surprised that Olivia opted out of using water for breast milk. She just made a headlines thanks to her Glamour photo shoot, where she breastfed her and fiancé Jason Sudeikis’s 5-month-old son, Otis, while dressed in a Roberto Cavalli dress.

“Being shot with Otis is so perfect because any portrait of me right now isn’t complete without my identity as a mother being a part of that,” Olivia explained to Glamour. “Breastfeeding is the most natural thing … it feels like Otis should always be on my breast.”
