Ice dancers Meryl Davis and Charlie White are now medal winners at the 2014 Winter Olympics in Sochi. But what did the two look like as mere tykes?
Meryl, 27, and Charlie, 26, helped the U.S. team to pick up bronze in the team figure skating competition on February 9. Charlie and Meryl certainly did their part, as they placed first in both the short and free dance portions of the team competition.
Now, we're getting a glimpse of the pair of skaters from their younger years. On February 9, NBC tweeted out an adorable pic of the duo from many moons ago, alongside a pic of them in the present day.
"@Meryl_Davis and @CharlieaWhite then and now," NBC captions the pic.
This throwback photo is seriously priceless, and we can't stop staring at it! Indeed, the best part just might be that very retro background of the photo. Ah, the '90s.
The pic proves just how long the two have been honing their act together, as they have been skating as partners for the past 17 years now. That makes them the longest-lasting ice dancing team in the U.S. Clearly, the longevity is paying off.
