Despite the reveal of Henry's daughter, Edward promises OUAT won't skip over the story of Henry and Cinderella's relationship.

"What I can tell you is we're not going to get there right away, because as we saw, that seems like the end — Henry has a 9-year-old daughter," he tells Entertainment Weekly.

"We're going to start with the beginnings of, how did Henry meet Cinderella?"

Hopefully. ABC Chief Channing Dungey promises the reboot does not spell the end of the show... as long as it resonates with fans.

“A lot of it is going to depend on how these new characters and this new story line resonates," she says.

"If it does, we have the opportunity to tell multiple years with these new characters and if not, we’ll look at the series as we’re going into this year and talk about how we wind it down. What they’ve got planned is really spectacular,” per Entertainment Weekly.

We've been promised a more laid back Regina and here she is in all her chill glory as a curly-haired, denim-clad bar owner.

These changes will affect Regina's relationship with her grown son, Henry.

"We reunite after many years in a flashback. Regina has not seen this grown man ever before. She's taken aback by that and is sort of finding their relationship now that he's no longer this little boy or teenager," per TVGuide.

"When we meet in the present world, it's an entirely different relationship. We're our cursed selves so we don't really know each other."

Lana pictures a strong and mature man for her onscreen counterpart.

"Someone really strong. I don't just mean physically strong. They have to have a strong heart. I don't want her to control anyone, she told TVGuide.

"I want someone to be a really good match for her. Maybe she's challenged by him in ways — a mature relationship. I feel like she's matured so much...I don't know who he is yet. I don't think [the producers] know yet."

But most of all? She wants someone with a pulse. "I don't know, maybe someone that doesn't die!" We hear that.

“The first thing I will say is it is not a reboot: it's a requel. Part reboot, part sequel,” Edward tells IGN.

The showrunner insists the show’s formatting will not change in Season 7.

“The main villain we're going to meet first is Lady Tremaine. We are going to be kind of seeing how Henry's life mashes up with the new iteration of Cinderella,” Adam reveals in the same interview.

“For us, where Regina decided with the curse she was going to keep everyone in the same town and prevent them from leaving, I would say this is the opposite in that we're going to find a neighborhood that is slowly being developed by Lady Tremaine, and what she realized is if she pushes all the fairy tale characters away from the neighborhood, and they're all separated, they can never find each other. The [ultimate] goal is, well, if Snow and Charming lived in separate cities, how would they ever meet?”

The showrunners promised not to recast Christopher Robin and teased the possibility of more new characters. But they stuck fast to the OG Snow White.

“[I] would say that the real question it seems like from the fans is: You're not going to show another Snow White, are you? And the answer is: no,” says Edward.
