Storybrooke’s fate may hang in the balance, but Once Upon a Time’s won’t — the hit drama was renewed by ABC for Season 3!

Today, the network announced that the show will return for the Fall 2013 season, which comes as no surprise given the show’s ever-growing popularity. Though ratings dipped a bit this season, with such a rabid (and awesome) fan base and a spellbinding Season 2 finale, there was no denying another year with The Charmings & Co.

OUAT has a full season order, meaning it will air 22 episodes after it returns from summer hiatus.

As it stands, all series regulars will return, and we bet there will be plenty more twists, turns, and new fairy tale favorites come Season 3. Plus, star Michael Raymond-James (Neal Cassady/Baelfire) was upped to series regular, and the OUAT spin-off, Once Upon a Time in Wonderland, was also picked up, too. Celebrate good times, come on!

Are you surprised that the show was renewed, or was it a no-brainer for ABC? Sound off below!
