On Once Upon a Time, characters come and go, but we always hold out hope to see our favorites again. Fortunately, it looks like Young Snow White could be one of those returning in Season 3, along with Aurora, Mulan, Prince Philip, and hopefully a few more.

At Variety’s Power of Youth on July 27, Wetpaint Entertainment caught up with the fairest of them all’s young portrayer, Bailee Madison, and she was beside herself with excitement about potentially returning to the Enchanted Forest. Read on for our full chat with her — including intel about her exciting new ABC show Trophy Wife — and then sound off in the comments about what you’d love to see in flashbacks this season!

Wetpaint Entertainment: Will you be making another appearance on OUAT this season?

Bailee Madison: I hope so — fingers and toes and eyes crossed! Anytime; I would jump on a plane to Vancouver in a heartbeat. I love everyone there and I love the crew and I love the cast, so it’s truly one of my favorite roles. Hopefully I will go back!

So, no plans to go back yet?

No plans yet!

What can you tell me about your character on your new show, Trophy Wife?

Honestly, I probably know as much as you do. But it’s been all kind of new; everything has been happening so quickly. I can tell you from what I’ve read, she’s a great character. She reminds me of myself in a way because she’s kind of this major dork and she’s hoping to kind of crack the cool crowd. Her crushes are like Mark Zuckerberg instead of obsessing over Justin Bieber —  she’s not cool at all. I think through the season you will finally be able to see her grow and try to become cool. In a way, I feel like she’s the parent to Malin Ackerman; she’s so much smarter than her character. She looks down at her like “Don’t — don’t do that.”

And she plays your stepmom?

My stepmom, yes.

What is the dynamic like between the two of you, and then also between Marcia Gay Harden, who plays your mom?

From what I know — and I honestly don’t know much — I feel like between me and my mom (Marcia Gay Harden), we’re really close, we’re both really smart, and I feel like I’m always trying to please my mom. Then, with my stepmom, I think I’m hoping that under her wing I’m going to be able to be cool and I can help her. There are also parts of it that I’m trying to make her much more adult and trying to be the parent. I think you’ll see a bunch of times that I’m kind of the mother of her, which I think will be a lot of fun to be able to play.

Have you shot anything so far?

We haven’t! The pilot they ended up going in a different direction with the character that I’m playing, so that’s how I stepped into it. So, it will be different in the pilot and then I will come in.

Have you met Malin Akerman yet?

I have! I love her — I’m like obsessed with her in The Proposal. When I met her, I was so excited. She was like, “I just had a baby,” and I was like, “Holy cow, you look amazing!” It was great; she has been so, so sweet. We had a blast together, and I’m really, really, really looking forward to spending every day with her on set. It’s just great.

Trophy Wife airs Tuesdays this fall starting September 24, 2013 at 9:30 p.m. ET/PT on ABC.
