Once Upon a Time in Wonderland is shaping up to be an incredible show. In addition to the core cast, new roles are being added frequently — including a recently-recast one!

The latest shocking casting is Iggy Pop. Yes, the “grandfather of pop punk” is an integral part of Wonderland, voicing The Caterpillar. According to Entertainment Weekly, he replaces The Who’s Roger Daltrey, who voiced the infamous hookah-smoking insect when the original OUAT visited the mysterious new land. Roger was unavailable for the new series, so they chose another rock god who will definitely fit the part.

Additionally, TV Guide reports that Wonderland has enlisted another character who is potentially another fan favorite from the original Lewis Carroll book. Join the club! The potentially-recurring role is named Elizabeth, but she is apparently also known as “The Lizard.” This Wonderland native “finds herself entangled in Alice’s quest” and will be played by My Super Psycho Sweet 16’s Lauren McKnight.

Sounds like we have a lot to look forward to. Counting down the days until Thursday, Oct. 10 at 8 p.m. when OUATiW premieres!
