Rose McGowan of Once Upon a Time almost lost her Los Angeles-area home in a fire yesterday (September 30), reports Us Weekly. The actress, who is also well-known for her portrayal of Paige Matthews on the hit series Charmed, announced the upsetting news via her Twitter.
“Well, my house almost burnt down tonight,” she wrote late last night before giving a shoutout to the friend who called the fire department and saved her home.
Rose — who appeared as Young Cora on OUAT — later tweeted: “Back in the house. It smells like burnt metal and my eyes are burning. grateful. Goodnight, moon. X”
Us Weekly reports no one was injured in the incident with even Rose’s dogs able to get out OK. No details yet on the extent of the damage or what started the fire.
Let’s hope things improve for Rose from here on out. Seeing as she got engaged over the summer to boyfriend Davey Detail, Rose has a wedding to plan and soon! The couple are set to wed on October 12, Us reports.
This marks Rose’s third engagement — she split from then-fiancé Marilyn Manson in 2001 and director Robert Rodriguez in 2009 — but you know what they say: third time’s the charm!
